Server Won't Start
If a server fails to start, use these checks before opening a ticket.
Check the console
Section titled “Check the console”Open the server console and look at the latest log lines. Common causes include invalid configuration, incompatible mods or plugins, missing files, or version mismatch.
Copy the exact visible error text if you need support.
Undo recent changes
Section titled “Undo recent changes”If the problem started after a file, mod, plugin, or configuration change, remove the recent change or restore a backup from before the change.
Check resources
Section titled “Check resources”Modded servers may need more memory than vanilla servers. If the console shows memory-related errors, reduce the mod load or review available plan options.
Restart once
Section titled “Restart once”Try one restart after checking the logs. Repeated restarts can make the logs harder to read.
Open a ticket
Section titled “Open a ticket”Include the server name, game and runtime, what changed recently, and the newest console error.
