Understanding Your Invoice
Use this page when a charge or invoice does not immediately look familiar.
Start in the billing portal
Section titled “Start in the billing portal”Open Billing in the Portal, then use Open Billing Portal if it is available. The billing portal is the source for invoices, receipts, payment methods, and subscription details.
What a charge usually represents
Section titled “What a charge usually represents”A charge may correspond to:
- A new subscription.
- A recurring plan renewal.
- A plan upgrade or downgrade adjustment.
- A payment retry after a previous payment issue.
The exact line items and dates are shown in the billing portal.
Plan changes and proration
Section titled “Plan changes and proration”When a plan changes during a billing period, the billing provider may adjust the amount charged or credited based on timing. Review the invoice line items for the plan name, date, and amount.
If it still does not make sense
Section titled “If it still does not make sense”Open a ticket with your account email, invoice date, amount, plan shown in the Portal, and what you expected to see.
