Plans and Changes
Plans control the resources and features available to your account.
Plan changes
Section titled “Plan changes”Plan changes can affect available resources and features. The exact timing for a change may depend on your billing state and the options available in your account.
Existing servers or workspaces may need adjustment after a plan change if they use resources or features that are no longer included.
Upgrades may make additional resources available after the Portal processes the change. Downgrades or cancellations may be scheduled for the end of the current billing period when that option is shown.
What can happen to running servers
Section titled “What can happen to running servers”A plan change can affect resource limits or available features. Some changes may require a restart, resize, or follow-up action before the server or workspace reflects the new plan.
Your data should not be treated as disposable during a plan change, but you should still create a backup before major billing or resource changes when the Portal allows it.
If a downgrade removes access to a resource you currently use, the Portal may restrict creating or modifying affected services until the account is back within the plan limits.
Current plan state
Section titled “Current plan state”Your billing page is the source for your current plan state, subscription details, and available actions.
The billing portal may be available for payment method and invoice management. If you see a billing notice, resolve it before creating or modifying services when possible.
Use Open Billing Portal when you need to update a payment method, view invoices or receipts, or manage cancellation options.
Getting help
Section titled “Getting help”If a charge, plan, or resource limit does not look right, open a support ticket. Include your account email, what you expected, and what you see on the billing page.
