Lost Connection Mid-Session
Use this page when players can join at first but disconnect during play.
Check whether the server restarted
Section titled “Check whether the server restarted”Open the Portal and check the server status and console. If the server restarted, the console may show startup logs after the disconnect.
If you recently changed files, mods, plugins, or configuration, check Server Won’t Start After a Change.
Check whether the server crashed
Section titled “Check whether the server crashed”Look for crash text, out-of-memory messages, plugin errors, or mod errors in the console. Copy the newest visible error before restarting again.
Check whether one player or everyone disconnected
Section titled “Check whether one player or everyone disconnected”If one player disconnected, ask them to check their client version, mods, and local network. If everyone disconnected at the same time, check the server console and Service Status.
Avoid repeated restarts
Section titled “Avoid repeated restarts”Restart once after checking the logs. Repeated restarts can hide the original error and make the cause harder to find.
If it still does not work
Section titled “If it still does not work”Open a ticket with the server name, connection address shown in the Portal, game version, what the client displays, what the console displays, and whether all players or only one are affected.
